The Children’s Art Activities area will provide a fun experience, engaging youngsters in stimulating creativity expressed in a visual arts venue. Children of all ages attending the “Taste” will find exciting activities and tasty treats geared especially for them. The event will be a day to remember, for them and for all the family.

THE HOME DEPOT Kid’s Zone Craft Tent
Assisted by the able volunteers from THE HOME DEPOT, children will enjoy building a “homemade” project from one of the craft kits provided by our generous sponsor, THE HOME DEPOT. Designed for kids 5-12, these free workshops teach do-it-yourself skills and tool safety, while instilling a sense of accomplishment. Mom and Dad can join in the fun, too, to make it a “family project”.

Airheads Summer Fun Tour
The Taste in San Pedro is proud to present the Airheads Summer Fun Tour in support of their official partnership with the US Youth Soccer Organization. On Saturday and Sunday, this mobile tour will bring the Airheads brand to life by giving kids the chance to interact with Airheads face to face introduce their newest product, Airheads Pops, which feature great fruity flavors in a 25 calorie lollipop. Energetic Airheads brand ambassadors will set up a fully branded and modular “summer fun zone” on-site, including a branded Hummer H3, where they will engage kids by hosting interactive games and contests.

Buccaneers of Tortuga
A very special and highly anticipated new adventure this year will be the Pirate Plundering Team of the “Buccaneers of Tortuga” with authentic pirate story-telling by look-alike “Capt. Jack Sparrow” and his fully costumed crew of rowdy hooligans. Arrrrrgh Mateys!
